Q? WHEN AND WHERE DO YOU TRAIN?
A. For all dog classes, we train on Sunday mornings. The actual class time can change with the time of
year so please contact us for current times.
All classes normally run from February to the end of November. The calendar is updated at the end of
the year with commencement dates. You can find it under “membership – calendar”
Our training location is Bressington Park, Underwood Rd Homebush NSW 2140 – opposite DFO
shopping center and near Sydney Olympic Park.
Q? HOW MANY CLASSES ARE THERE?
A. There are three different class levels, beginners PDC, transition and advance. The beginner’s pet
dog course runs for four weeks; bookings are essential you must send an email requesting a place in the
course. Once you are a member your trainers will advise which class you can attend.
Transition class runs on a 4-week rotation and builds on what you have learnt in puppy class plus
introduces more advanced cues, nosework and basic agility. Advance class runs on an 8-week rotation
focusing on canine behaviour, some obedience, nosework and agility.
Q? IS PARKING AVAILALE AT BRESSINGTON PARK?
A. The council has metered parking in a large car park at Bressington Park. The parking meters use a “pay
by plate” system, using your number plate to identify how long the vehicle has been parked for. This
system does not print tickets and is also cashless, meaning a credit/debit card will be needed for

Q. HOW MUCH DOES TRAINING COST?
A. The 4-week beginners pet dog course has a basic fee of $90.00 for one adult and one dog.
Transition and Advance class has a base joining fee of $50.00 for one adult and one dog. There is a
weekly attendance fee of $5.00 per dog.
We do encourage family members to attend as consistency with training gives your dog the best chance
of learning. There are small additional course fees for other family members attending and involved
with class work.

The club’s bank account details will be sent to you when your place in the next course is offered, and
you have provided all documentation. The attendance fees can be paid in blocks of 4 weeks, the
secretary checks who has attended training each week and if you happen to miss training or is
cancelled due to wet weather you will be in credit for the classed missed.
Note: Method of payment preferred is DIRECT DEPOSIT
Q. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO CLASS?
A. 1. Exact cash for the attendance fee (transition and advanced) unless you have paid this
by direct deposit, there is no change.
2. Your dog’s soft collar or harness and lead not a retractable lead. We can advise you if there are
more suitable items to use e.g. front attach harness if there is potential damage to your dog if it
pulls on lead.
3. Suitable food rewards for use in training (and probably more than you think you need). 4 legs
meatballs, chunkers, small pieces of cheese, devon, sausage etc. – you need to be able to reward
your dog with tiny pieces – mixed with your dog’s normal dry food. It is best if you do not feed your
dog just before you come so your dog concentrates on you and your food rewards rather than the
other dogs.
4. A waist bag for fast access to rewards, (use a clip clock plastic bag inside the waist bag) you need to
be able to keep your hands free.
5. Plastic bags to clean up after your dog.
Q. WHAT FOOTWEAR IS SUITABLE FOR TRAINING?
A. Please wear suitable enclosed shoes like trainers or similar, loose sandals, thongs etc. are not
suitable for moving about the field with your dog.
